Refund policy
Alpha Equestrian is a small, locally owned business. We do our absolute best to ensure that you are happy with your items and the services that we provide. Please keep in mind that we split our time between many tasks within the company, from customer service, inventory, new products and web/marketing.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Final sale and gift card items are not eligible for return/refund. Sale/clearance items are not eligible for return/refund, but are eligible for exchange or store credit.
Gallors, Chester and Mattes orders are not eligible for refund/return. Under special circumstances, returns may be pre-approved with a 25% restocking fee
4% restocking fee applies to all returns unless processed as store credit. This is purely to cover transaction fees and any applicable shipping expenses.
If your return meets the above criteria, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. The cost of return shipping, and any applicable restocking fees, will be deducted from the amount of the return. Original shipping fees are not refundable.
The customer is fully responsible for the package until we have verified that the return has been received from the carrier.
Items sent back to us without a return authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as consignment items, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal/horse care goods (such as skincare products and/or liquids). Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
Exchanges are treated as returns; please return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
